The Temple of the Vedic Planetarium West Wing Exhibits is currently scouting for creative talent across the entire ISKCON community base. These are paid service positions, located in Mayapur. We are looking for a Museum exhibit script writer.

New staff writers will be a part of the creative team, under the direction of the head writer tasked with producing exhibits scripts and ancillary written support material.

The Script writers are responsible for

• Writing background for the position would be familiarity with screenplay writing and/or advertising and fundraising copywriting.
• Generate script submissions and supporting research material
• Script revision under the direction of creative director and head writer

Educational Qualification:

• Degree in English, journalism or creative writing

Professional Skills:

• Excellent writing ability
• Detail and deadline oriented
• Adaptable (Take direction and rewrites in stride)
• Impeccable organizational skills
• Expert in idea generation and research planning
• Excellent communications skills
• Outstanding grammar and punctuation skills

Experience:

• Candidates shall submit samples illustrating competency in their writing ability for job candidacy consideration
• Must be willing to submit to an intense editing process working with head writer

Full Time/part time

Maintenance:

Residence in Mayapur is preferred but is negotiable.
