COVID Karuna – An appeal from Sridham Mayapur

T he COVID situation around the world has not settled and we have an issue in Mayapur over the last week and more, where it is suspected that many will be infected.

We are worried about all devotees in the Dham, but more so about 38 Srila Prabhupada disciples who are elderly, many sanyasis and HH Jayapataka Swami and his servants. HH Jayapataka swami, being a double transplant recipient is more susceptible. Thanks to the wonderful quarantining and the strict rules  followed by his servants, but we should be prepared to handle any situation.

So in preparation, we are considering equipping Mayapur hospital with following equipment :

  • “TRUELAB QUATTRO RT PCR Testing equipment set – 15 lakhs
  • Turbine type ventilator & Oxygen Cylinders – 20 lakhs
  • Testing for 350 devotees – 10 lakhs
  • Critical medicines and injections – 5 lakhs

In all totalling INR50lakhs

While Mayapur management is doing its role in protecting them,   this is a responsibility of one and all to support the Dham vasis, I would request generous contribution from all devotees all around the world.

Kindly note that there is a new Hospital project and we shall come for that separately in due course of time. Now, on an emergency basis, we need to be ready to support the COVID requirement.
