A Combination Of Mercy And Nectar Was The Mood Of The Celebration!

Sri Nityananda Trayodasi Celebration!

It is now official! From the enthralling Nityananda Trayodasi that was celebrated on the 22nd of February, the festivities in Mayapur have finally taken their course. From now to the end of March, it will be one festival to another, and hence, the atmosphere in Sri Mayapur Dham is basking with a lot of auspicious activities.

“I humbly bow down to and glorify Lord Sri NityAnanda Prabhu, on whose beautiful left lotus ear one elegant pearl ornament is swinging. Accepting the role as the elder brother of the Supreme Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu, Lord Nityananda Prabhu sanctified the whole world and purified all the living entities.”

While a magnificent celebration was happening right here at Sri Dham Mayapur for the celebration of Nityananda Trayodasi, devotees were simultaneously at Ekachakra Dham participating in the Kirtan festival going on. It was not just double mercy for many, but a rare fortune! The deities were both dressed out of this world; Srimati Radharani and Her gopis were indeed at work, making such a special arrangement for the occasion by entering into the minds of the dressers. How can that not be? Lord Nitai was looking extremely sophisticated and smiling so brightly. You can tell that that smile was not ordinary; He was in fact pleased with the care taken to elaborately make such a beautiful, heartfelt endeavor to please him. And for sure, Lord Nitai was pleased because He is very merciful. One doesn’t have to bring the mountains to Lord Nitai before He becomes pleased; because He is Bhakta-vatsala, Sri Nityananda is affectionate to His devotees. Therefore, He is always very merciful in our little endeavor! Jai Nitai Gaura!

Now in Sri Mayapur Dham, for every step you take, you must purse to make a dandavat. What does this mean? It means our very grand parents, Srila Prabhupada’s warriors, and senior devotees are all here, with lots more to come, to give us their association and as well participate in the grand celebration of the Maha-Abhisheka of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu and His associates. MERCY IS THE NAME!!!

Over 4000 nationals, with many more yet to come from different countries all over the world, are now gathering at this auspicious birthplace of Lord Gaura to participate in His glorious leela again. Our eyes might not see all that is happening beyond our material perception, but for sure, the Lord’s mercy is here, and He is coming soon to grace us even more with His loving mercy.

Sankirtan parties are everywhere, singing and dancing all around the campus, and book distributors are at every corner, doing their magic to assist Lord Gaura and the Acharyas in distributing the mercy of the love of Godhead! Lectures, seminars, kathas, bhajans, and many more are taking place at every point; you just have to be ready to grab the mercy once you are here. Tents, mini markets, and book stalls have been arranged nicely to meet the needs of everyone, so you don’t have to seearch too.

Now coming up is the Grand Opening of Nrsimhadeva Wing (TOVP), which is set to commence from February 29th to March 2nd, and then we have other festivals lined up, like Sravan Utsav, where we get the mercy to hear about the lords Gaura Katha in the midst of our seniors, and then the most-awaited Maha-Abhisheka of the Big Panca Tattva deities, which will take place on the 3rd of March.
