comprehensive overview and guidance on the Corona Virus outbreak which is already announced by WHO as a global emergency.
In Mayapur, the presence of a wonderful local and international community, and the expected huge influx of devotees from around the world for the current festivals, makes it Imperative for everyone to understand the screening and preventative measures are essential to have a safe festival.

WHAT IS CORONA VIRUS? It is a large group of viruses, which can affect both human and animals with cold/flu related diseases. Its intensity ranges from common cold/flu to acute respiratory syndrome (Pneumonia).
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS
Initial Symptoms
1 Coughing.

4.Sore throat (unable to swallow)
5. Body aches and pain
Severe:

4.Diarrhea.

HOW CORONA IS TRANSMITTED
1.Direct Contact with infected patient.
Droplets inhaled from patient’s cough and sneezing.
( please note : air travel is of particular concern, as within an airplane, the air is circulated within a confined space, thus enabling numerous individuals the chance of contracting the virus. The current incubation period is 14 days, and it is possible to contact the virus from a person who has no symptoms, a person who is merely a carrier.
