F or the pleasure of their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Madhava, Sri Pancatattva, Sri Nrisimhadev, Srila Prabhupada and all the readers, Mayapur Bhakti Vriksha informing a very remarkable 2nd annual festival UTSAHA that has been held on 26th Feb. 2017, Sunday at Rabindra Bhavan cultural hall, Krishnanagar.
This program mainly for the welfare of Mayapur Bhakti Vriksha devotees in the local areas. For that purpose Mayapur Bhakti Vriksha managed H.H. Jayapataka Swami Guru Maharaj to be present and deliver his priceless talks.
The program starts at 3:30 PM with ISKCON video show for 30 minutes, followed by Mangalacaran, Harinam Kirtan and Vaisnava bhajans for 30 mts.
The program was very charming with varieties of events like dancing of different groups, videos & speeches. So, before and after the lectures, cultural events placed in the intervals. The hall was fully packed with more than 700 devotees. There were two speakers namely H.G. Sankarsan Nitai Pr., spoke on the ‘importance of human life’; and at the end the center attraction of the program H.H. Jayapataka Swami Maharaj discussed very deep & politely on ‘the benefit of chanting the holy name as instructed by Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and it’s need to spread more and more everywhere.’ After the lecture there was melodious kirtan where devotees stood up following the kirtan and danced in ecstasy for 15 minutes and the program ended with mahaprasad distribution to all of them.
Finally, the program was very successful, everyone enjoyed the program very enthusiastically and went back home happily with smiling face. Letter on we get to know that devotees felt really ecstatic by the program that many of them expressed their heartfelt gratitude saying ‘it was really excellent, all good. Especially both the lecture presented by H.G. and H.H. Jayapataka Swami Gurumaharaj that attracted their hearts and also dance presentations, especially by the kids. Many of them told ‘I did not think that it will finish very soon, I wanted to hear more’. It was really very exciting Krishna Conscious program for the 2nd time in Krishnanagar concerning Goudiya Vaisnava cult increasing UTSAHA in their devotional practices.
