Today is Amlaki Vrata Ekadasi. After Navadvipa Mandala Parikrama, festivities have begun in Mayapur. Today we will have Sri Radha-Madhava carried in a procession on the elephants. Deity procession is celebrated every saturday , begining from Kartik and ending with Gaura Purnima. This will be the last HATI PARIKRAMA for this season- so, devotees are assembling in large numbers to join this sweet festival. HH Jayapataka Swami is giving every evening, classes on Chaitanya lila from IST 4:30 to 6:00 pm, which is broadcasted live in Jayapatakaswami/facebook page.

 

This year, for the first time, around 1500 devotees from Bangladesh are here for the Parikrama and festival. Bengali Caitanya Lila classes are held in the evening by HH Bhakti Purusottama Swami & HH Gauranga Prem Swami. Every evening, devotional cultural program- main stage entnertainment takes place till Gaura Purnima. 

Tomorrow is the GOVINDA DWADASI- the famous SHANTIPUR festival- serving more than 50,000 dhamvasis on the disappearance day of Madhavendra Puri.ISKCON Mayapur is organizing this program since 18 years, giving the opportunity to more than 50,000 pilgrims to get the worthiest of all gifts ever (Krsna Bhakti), His Holiness Jayapataka swami was personally requested to held and organize this seva by Sri Prasanth Goswami, the 14th descendant of Sri Advaita Acarya.
