By the causeless mercy of Lord Gaura Nitai, Sri Jiva Goswami, Srila Prabhupada and Vaisnavas, the date of Asta Krosa Parikrama has been fixed fro 9th November to 12th November 2016. This is the second year this Parikrama is going to take place. Srila Nityananda Prabhu along with Jiva goswami used to perform this Parikrama. In this Parikrama 4 islands will be covered – Antardvipa, Simantadvipa, Godrumadvipa and Koladvipa . A part of Rudradvipa will also be covered.
Starting from ISKCON Mayapur Main Gate the Parikrama will go to different pastime places in Antardvipa and Simantadvipa like Barakona Ghat, Sridhar Angan, Bharadwaja Tila and will reach ISKCON Rajapur Jagannath Temple, the night halt for Day 1. On Day 2 the devotees will cross river Jalangi and walk on Godrumadvipa, the divine residence of Mother Surabhi. after visiting Surabhi Kunj, Suavarna Vihar and other places the night halt will be in Bhaktivedanta Arogya Ashram. Day 3 will cover Koladvipa and devotees will take Darshan of Dhamesvara Mahaprabhu and stay in Pratap Nagar ISKCON Centre. After walking on parts of Rudradvipa the devotees come to Antardvipa, take Darshan of Yogapitha, the Birthplace of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and return to ISKCON Mayapur Campus.
