F or the pleasure of their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Madhava, Sri Pancatattva, Sri Nrisimhadev, Srila Prabhupada and all the readers Mayapur Bhakti Vriksha informing a very remarkable festival UTSAHA that has been held on 21st Feb. 2016, Sunday at Rabindra Bhavan cultural hall, Krishnanagar.
This year is the ‘ISKCON Golden Jubilee Festival’ year (50 years of ISKCON). Regarding that occasion Mayapur Bhakti Vriksha took an opportunity to hold this glorious program mainly for the welfare of Mayapur Bhakti Vriksha devotees in the local areas. For that purpose Mayapur Bhakti Vriksha managed 3 of ISKCON sannyasis namely H.H. Bhakti Purusottam Swami Maharaj, H.H. Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaj and H.H. Jayapataka Swami Maharaj to be present and deliver their priceless talks.
The program starts at 3:30 PM with ISKCON video show followed by Mangalacaran, Harinam Kirtan and Vaisnava bhajans for 45 mts.
At 4:45 PM honorable chief guest Mr. Vijoy Bharti, DM. of Nadia, arrived in the stage, offered garland to HDG Srila Prabhupada and delivered his valuable speech for about 15 minutes.
The program was very charming with verities of events like dancing of different groups, videos & speeches. So, before and after the lectures, cultural events placed in the intervals. The hall was completely packed with more than 700 devotees, no space left. There were three speakers namely H.H. Bhakti Purusottam Swami Maharaj, spoke on the ‘Aim of human life’; H.G. Sankarsan Nitai Pr. spoke on ‘Duty of household life’ and at the end the center attraction of the program H.H. Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaj discussed very politely on ‘sharanagati’ with singing a song written by Srila Bhakti Vinod Thakur – srikrishna caitanya prabhu jibe daya kori……. followed by Harinam Sankirtan. All the assembled participants stood up following H.H. and danced in ecstasy for 15 minutes and the program ended with mahaprasad distribution to all of them.
Finally, the program was very successful, everyone enjoyed the program very enthusiastically and went back home happily with smiling face. Letter on from the feedback we get to know this type of program never held before in Krishnanagar. Devotees felt really ecstatic by the program that many of them expressed their heartfelt gratitude saying ‘what I am seeing, is it Bhagaban Caitanya dancing and singing; so brilliant and effulgent. Someone told when five hours passed I did not know. Another one told I was thinking it would be better if this program goes on whole night, I did not thought that it will finished very soon, I wanted to hear more’. It was really very exciting program for the first time ever in Krishnanagar concerning Goudiya Vaisnava cult.
