This was followed up with a lecture by HG Sankarsan Nitai Prabhu in both English and Bengali. He explained the ten offenses against chanting of the Holy Names. He concluded his talk by saying that diksa is glorious but the disciples need to be serious in carrying out their vows.
Next initiation candidate devotees performed Acaman and took vows before devotees who represented HH Jaya Pataka Maharaj. There was a kirtan before Maharaj’s arrival. Maharaj didn’t give a lecture due to a problem in His voice. First, the aspiring devotees came together and offered puspanjali at lotus feet of Maharaj. Next, devotees taking shelter came together and similarly offered puspanjali at lotus feet of Maharaj. Maharaj then chanted Hare Krsna Mahamantra and this was heard by initiation candidates.
