All glories to Sri Mayapur Dham!

From the core of our hearts, we want to send our warmest appreciation to all our esteemed donors, who have been a firm pillar behind the successes of the festivities in Sri Mayapur Dham. There is indeed not a single word or sentence to use to express our deep appreciation to you, but a warm prayer to the lotus feet of Lord Hari that He may continue to rain His divine blessings on you and the family.

The celebration for this year commenced from Narasimha Navaratri down to Narasimha Caturdashi; it was the best of the best! During these nine days, Yagna was offered to invoke the Lord; a total of 12 Kundas have been nicely arranged in front of the Pancha Tattva courtyard with Brahmanas chanting hymns for the pleasure of the Lord. The last day was even more special with Maha Sudarshana & Narasimha Yajna offered right in front of Lord Narasimhadev. With pujaris in place, we were able to offer the names in Sankalpa during the Yajna for all our donors, well-wishers, and for humanity at large.

With thousands of devotees, visitors, guests visiting for the first time, and pilgrims, Mayapur was filled with many anxious souls, waiting to take darshan and experience the bliss of the Lord’s abhisheka offering. At about a quarter past 5 p.m., the abhisheka ceremony began. Even without being right in front of the altar, you could hear the roaring of devotees once the first item was poured on the Lord’s body. This went on for several hours, one item after the other, with several prayers along with each item, and gradually the abhisheka came to an end with a very ecstatic kirtan in the background. The Lord was then offered an elaborate bhoga offering, lovingly prepared by Mayapur community devotees.

 

The success of these festivities is all part of your committed efforts, and we thank you for your generous contributions, sevas, and donations towards this period, special prayers and poojas were offered on your behalf and the family with prayers for protection, good health, and for all material and spiritual well-being for you and for the family! May Lord Narasimhadev personally bestow His loving shelter and glance on you and the family.
