For the pleasure of their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Madhava, Pancatattva, Nrisimhadev, Srila Prabhupada and for all of you, Mayapur Bhakti Vriksha wants to continuously broadcast good news; in the month of kartik we had the a wonderful Damodar program held by ‘Shaktinagar Bhakti Vriksha Gosthis’ namely Sri Radha Govinda Bhakti Vriksha Gosthi, Sri Radha Giridhari Bhakti Vriksha Gosthi, Sri Radha Rasbihari Bhakti Vriksha Gosthi and Sri Gadadhar Bhakti Vriksha Gosthi arranged a most gorgeous Stage Program at Shaktinagar School Maidan on 2nd November, Wednesday. More than 2,000 people participated in that colorful ceremony.
The program started at 5PM with Mangalacaran, Harinam and Bhajan-kirtan by the Mayapur devotees. Soon after there was a very beautiful devotional dance program by Mayapur child artist, a four years girl named Krishnagi, she gave and attractive dance performance for three different songs.
H.G. Sankarshan Nitai Pr. then enlightened the huge audience with Damodar Katha. The lecture was based on the important of devotional service in human life for about 1 hour, he then lead Damodarastakam along side of which a Dip-dan ceremony took place. In the meantime a small girl from Krishnanagar sung a bhajan very beautifully, she attracted the whole audience. The entire assembled people offered ghee lamps to Lord Damodar with great love & devotion, followed by melodious kirtan presented by H.G. Mathuresh pr. for about 1 hour where everyone chanted and danced along with the Hare Krishna Mahamantra enthusiastically. At the end delicious mahaprasadam from Mayapur was distributed to everyone and they went home with a smiling face.
