- Serve Mayapur
By Bhakti Purusott... on Tue, 2008-09-02 12:06.
Mayapur is getting prepared to host a grand Gaura Purnima festival. The flavour of Gaura Purnima is already up in the air with all the devotees getting busy in preparing to serve the devotees. In another 28 days, devotees will arrive at ISKCON Mayapur to celebrate the 523rd appearance day anniversary of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Officially the festival will be inaugurated on 24th Feb. with hoisting of Garuda flag.
The guest houses are all painted and taken up a fresh hue. Festival special restaurants are on their rise (“Bhakta Tomato” is already open) and temple premises are being painted now. This year is special as Maha Abhisheka will be performed to Sri Pancattatva on 25th Feb. With “Free Prasada & No festival fees”, festival organizers are working hard to make the stay of all the guests more spiritually rewarding.
Brahmotsava 2009

With the festival getting closer, we have services for festival being lovingly accepted by devotees. For Maha abhisheka, we have limited service opportunities available. Remember, it is a unique and rare opportunity to serve Sri Mayapur dhama and Sri Mahaprabhu as it takes place only once in five years.
If you are not able to visit Sri Mayapur, we have the special facility to make your offerings to Sri Pancatattva. Pujaris will pronounce sankalpa on your behalf and the service would be performed. Conch for Maha abhiseka, Yajaman Seva and special feast sevas are already taken up. You can offer silver kalash and golden kalash for abhisheka of the deities. Seven full day Prasada Seva is available and few days of GBC and Sanyasis prasada seva is yet to be reserved.
Limited Opportunities! Don’t miss it! Next Maha Abhiseka is only at 2014!
Prasadam Seva
We no longer charge Festival fees and Prasadam is provided free for all the registered devotees. This service is very much appreciated by devotees. We could extend this facility only by the continuous support of our donors and well wishers. We request all the devotees to support this festival by contributing for Prasadam seva. A yatra, congregation or a temple or a namahatta can collectively sponsor the prasadam seva and earn unlimited spiritual benefits.
Please choose from the available dates and mention in the purpose column in our contribution page.
