Srila Prabhupada Vyasapuja celebrations begins in Mayapur

Padmapurana states that, “Of all types of worship, worship of Supreme Lord Hari is the best, but better than that is the worship of His devotee”. On 29th August, a grand four days of Srila Prabhupada Vyasapuja Celebrations began with bullock cart procession and Adhivas ceremony. Srila Prabhupada was pleased with the Padayatra report and in Vrindavan he once expressed his desire to go around the holy tirthas in the bullock cart. So,it was more apt to begin the Vyasapuja Celebrations with an attempt to fulfill Srila Prabhupada’s desire of bullock cart yatra.

Hrimati Mataji of Mayapur Animal Protection (MAP) has made a special bullock cart, which was decorated very gorgeously. Srila Prabhupada was seated in the cart and there was an esctatic harinam procession around the campus. As all the holy tirthas reside in Navadvipa and Mayapur also being Srila Prabhupada’s place of worship, we pray that Srila Prabhupada would be pleased with the procession. HG Jananivas Prabhu and HG Pankajanghri prabhu danced in the harinam and devotees were floating in bliss.

Today Srila Prabhupada Vyasapuja is being celebrated at Bhakti Vedanta National School and on 31st August, the celebrations will take place with community devotees offering, followed by Sri Mayapur International School Vyasapuja festival.

Srila Prabhupada ki jai!
