Jhulan Yatra festival is being celebrated with great splendor in Mayapur. This year the festival is happening in Gurukula village. Sri Sri Radha-Madhava visits the swinging arena in a decorated bullock chariot with harinam. Vaisnava youth of Mayapur has turned the gurukula into a beautiful kunja with colorful fountains, decorated pools, flowers and have organised variety cultural programs for the pleasure of the Lord. Year after year they are becoming expert in putting up the festival, adding different aesthetic elements to attract the body, mind & soul of all.

The presence of HH Jayapataka Swami is a blessing for us and he enlightens all of us in the swinging pastimes of the Lord. It is a whole experience in itself and the proof lies in the unending stream of devotees and pilgrims lining up patiently from evening 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. to pull the swing and it still never ends. Many more surprises await us on the Balarama Purnima day!

Join us in encouraging the youth by supporting the festival online here. Any donation is welcome and your name will be read to the deities at the Jhulan pandal.
