Surprising! Yes, we had a Christmas celebration in Mayapur. To praise the glories of the messenger of Lord on His appearance day is the essence of Christmas. Being the holiday season, usually Mayapur is over crowded with pilgrims. Nagar Sankirtan dept and Mayapur devotees led a scintillating harinam in the open air pandal and enthusiastically engaged the visitors in dancing and singing of the holy names. Harinam vibrated in the atmosphere, drawing more and more audience. Many were reluctant to climb up the stage to dance with western devotees at first, slowly the mood got changed as everyone got charged up when the devotees started interacting with the audience.

Ekalavya Prabhu with his trumpet and Shastra Pr with accordion were just blowing out all the misgivings in the heart, helping each one to dive deep in the necatrean ocean of hearing & chanting. Visitors started dancing and soon made their appearance in the stage to dance with devotees. This is what the happiness the soul is searching for and this is the answer for the increasing number of pilgrims visiting this spiritual oasis!
