Site Manager

MP is looking to hire a Site Manager with experience in all aspects of Building, Building Services, Fitout etc, for work on Big Temple project. Site Manager will take responsibility for all the operations on a site in ISKCON, Mayapur. Applicants should have the confidence to communicate on all levels and have team leading skills, able to work well individually or as part of a team. Educational and experience requirements include engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training plus 5 years experience/knowledge of construction, design, and management required.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that all contractors and suppliers plans and procedures are compatible with the discharge of the ISKCON’s obligations and responsibilities.

    • Manage and implement the whole quality process in accordance with the Quality Plan.

    • Be pro-active in obtaining design information with required time-scales for construction work.

    • Be responsible and co-operate with the Project Manager to ensure work is planned and undertaken in accordance with the Project Safety, Health and Environmental Plan.

    • Ensure that the subcontractor suppliers contractual programs are within the required timescale.

    • Ensure all contractors and subcontractors undertake risk assessments, establish, demonstrate and maintain safe systems.

    • Plan, organize, implement, review and monitor their procedures with respect to Environmental impact.

    • Active management of the construction process at site level on Design & Build project.

    • Ensure that the project is completed within budget, runs to schedule and meets industry quality standards Key skills:

    • a practical, logistical mind

    • numeracy

    • ability to develop good relationships with other professionals

    • a good grasp of IT applications and how they can be used in a site-management context

    • excellent organizational skills.
