It is with a lot of happiness in our heart that we inform the devotees that our beloved Srila Jayapataka Swami will arrive at Sri Mayapur Dham on Friday 20th of February 2009, to be present in the very transcendental and great Maha-Abhisheka to the Panca Tattva deities, that he loves and worship the most along with Sri Sri Radha Madhava asta sakhis and Lord Narasimhadeva, the very merciful and presiding Deities of our Sri Mayapur Candrodaya Mandir.

Maharaja will tentatively arrive at Mayapur by 4:30pm. A special ambulance has been arranged to come from Kolkata to Mayapur and a medical team will accompany Maharaja to Mayapur. Maharaja will then proceed to take darshan of deities and will give a short arrival address to the devotees in the Panca Tattva Mandir. Devotees can log onto live webcams from around 4:30pm. onwards to take darshan of Maharaja in his most beloved home, Sri Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir.

All of you know how close is Maharaja to the Mayapur deities and how important is for him and for his disciples, well-wishers and devotees in general that he is there at this very important event in the holiest of all places. Obviously, will be there 2 more days for the GBC meetings, so he can also associate with his dear God brothers. All this happens, thanks to all of you for your prayers and by the mercy of the Supreme Lord Gauranga, who heard our desires to make it possible, so Maharaja would be able to change little bit the atmosphere and to be in a spiritual and holy place as is Mayapur Dham. This will be a great healing spiritual and emotional therapy for His Holiness that in fact not only him but all we need.

Krishna knows what kind of miracles will happen there during the 8 days visit of Maharaja to the holy dham, as he is scheduled to leave again to have more therapies an treatments before returning to Mayapur dham for His 60th Sri Vyasapuja celebration.

An other miracle is that for the last few days Maharaja was able to stand by himself almost with very little help for few times in the physiotherapy chamber. Today we saw that he has more strength and balance, as he could stand up few times under the guidance of Dr.Chaku. But what more amazed us, was when yesterday, while we were in the park after 2 pm, he was able to stand with the help of devotees from the wheelchair and was able to walk 51 steps alone with the help of the walker. This gave us a lot of relief and happiness in seeing the progress he has made by Krishna’s mercy and the assistance of all the team here. 21 steps in the physiotherapy room and 51 in the park made a total of 72 steps in one day, which is great improvement. Today in the park Maharaja could walk 42 steps as he told me personally since I was not there at that moment.

For the last 3 days, the activities of Maharaja were normal as usual, we had the visit from yesterday of Uttama Caitanya Prabhu, who is our god brother and temple president of ISKCON Kuala-Lumpur the capital of Malaysia and who was today during the physiotherapy assisting the devotees with the therapies to GM.

Also at midnight yesterday arrived from Alachua our god sister Vijaya Radha dd, who is going to join us tomorrow in our trip to Mayapur. Sarva Sakti dd, Bhakta Santiago and other 3 devotees are expected to arrive also from USA, who are going to be in the same flight to go to the Holy dham. Marici Prabhu who si coming from Malaysia is going to join us from Kolkatta, as well as Simheswara Prabhu who will arrive today to Kolkatta may join us as well tomorrow. We are going to take the morning flight to Kolkatta and then from there to Mayapur dham, as you all know, the road to Mayapur these days is not so good and bumping, therefore it will take longer as we have to go slowly to avoid inconvenience to the health of Srila JPS. We leave the BHaktivedanta hospital very gratefull to all doctors and devotees who served Maharaja in their best level. Along with us is also coming Acyutananda Prabhu who is a doctor, to be beside Maharaja always,Dr siromani is also going.

Maharaja will arrive by Krishna mercy to the court yard of the temple and from there he will be greeted by devotees and deliver a short speech to devotees, then His Holiness will go to take rest for some time. Many things have been arranged for Maharaja as it is impossible for him to go to his quarters and come down frequently, so most probably he will stay in the first floor of Conch building for now. We don’t know what the final plan is yet, but we want all the devotees to please always pray, so our journey with Maharaja is smooth and fully blessed by devotees and Sri Sri Radha Madhava. I may not write until our arrival to Mayapur tomorrow night, that is why I am sending this email diary now.
