Doctors at the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai where HH Jayapataka Maharaj is warded have instructed ISKCON to discourage devotees from visiting Maharaj. They fear that Guru Maharaj's health condition may worsen due to possible infection from visitors. We request devotees not to come to Mumbai because nobody is allowed to go inside the ICU ward as the Hospital authorities are very strict now. Only way devotees can help is by chanting and praying to Lord Nrsimhadev. Devotees can do Congregational chanting. They can take sankalpa to offer the extra rounds to Gurudev.
The medical team at the moment are only observing the developments on the condition of HH Jayapataka Maharaj and something more could only be said in the next 24 hours.
An information office has been set up in the Juhu temple to attend to the queries of devotees. Devotees interested can call +91 22 26244500 (06 am to 09 pm) or see the update in the mayapur.com.
There are also two Doctors of the ISKCON Bhaktivedanta Hospital who are at the Hinduja Hospital and who are monitoring HH Jayapataka Maharaj health developments round the clock.
