O ne night in the month of Vaishaka, Krishna brought the gopis to Kumudavana with the desire to enjoy a rasa dance in the charming atmosphere. Radhika gathered some flowers growing plentifully there and as the other gopis watched so many flowers that he looked like the personified deity of spring. She made a crown and bracelets with kadamba flowers, armlets amd rings with mandara flowers, garlands with other forest flowers and tulasi manjaris and she adorned His stick with kumudas. Pleased with His beloved’s floral artistry, Krishna moved like an intoxicated elephant as He strolled through the beautiful mango, bakula, kadamba and tulasi groves of Kumudavana. The gopis showered the divine couple with flower petals, loving glances, and sweet smiles. Accompany themselves with mridangas, vinas, flutes, and karatalas. They sang enticing songs.
This is the theme of the decoration of Sri Sri Radha Madhava on the Chandan Yatra day 11. The sakhis and Radharani held various instruments. The small deities were decorated beautifully in a flower dress, with bracelets, armlets, earrings, crowns everything made of flowers. To see the Darshan Click Here
